Director Nis Søgaard interprets Ingmar Bergman’s opulent film classic using a modern Laterna Magica. Iduna Hegen, Karoline Hoffmann and Pierre Schäfer combine the use of a magic video table with shadow and paper theatre, pop-up books and projections, and their bodies and voices to tell the story of two children in search of their place in the adult world. An intense story about truth and lies, reality and fiction.
