Die drei Feen aus Dörnröschen, dargestellt als bunt gekleideter Figuren mit runten, gesichtslosen Holzkopfkugeln. Sie tragen lange Kleider und spitze, lange Hüte mit herabhängenden Stoffteilen. Die Puppenspielerin Maria Mägdefrau ist links im Bild und hält die Puppen von Dornröschen und dem Prinzen in den Händen. Die Puppenspielerin Maria Mägdefrau hält Dornröschen, den Prinzen und die Feen auf einem Holztablett- Die Feen sind um die Liebenden verteilt. Maria trägt ein türkisfarbenes langes Kleid.

Maria Mägdefrau shares the fairy tale of "Sleeping Beauty" using puppets and musical instruments that are transformed into props, such as the kettledrum that becomes a king's throne. A metallophone roars like the river and sees a frog leap out of it to share prophesies. It then transforms into a tower that the 15-year-old Sleeping Beauty climbs up, discovering the chamber where she pricks herself on a spindle and sinks into a 100-year sleep... Until her Prince Charming arrives!
