Contemporary Circus and Puppetry

Puppeteer Jarnoth and trapeze artist Moritz Haase set off in their shared production on an intense trip and discover through combining their artistic expertise an unusual new form somewhere between figure theater and contemporary circus: in doing so, they use multi-layered images to examine the sometimes symbiotic, sometimes contrary relationship of their bodies to each and to the puppets and objects surrounding them, sliding from boulevard-like dance breaks to tragic climaxes, creating an evening where the audience is justifiably exciting.
