Digitally networked, always reachable and connected with each other around the clock – and yet also often lonely? Throughout the entire world, people feel more isolated, alienated and alone than ever before. The interactive installation In data unicorns we trust is dedicated to the relationship between digitalization and loneliness as societal phenomena and makes different perspectives that are based on interviews visible. Using a piece of software developed by the company itself, the participants find themselves in a playful setting and can explore the documentary material. The project is the third part of the programming series Algorithms of Poverty on the topic of digital inequality by OutOfTheBox.
