Concert with objects
The experimental songwriting trio Hund combines delicate melodies with enchanting wind instruments and performative compositions. At Figure It Out, Hund will present a scenic concert with personal stories, sound objects, found objects and radio recordings. It serves as an homage to absurdity, to open borders, friendship and the legendary local radio station Gras FM.
Hund is made up of the musicians and performers Frieda Gawenda, Felix Koch and Sebastian Schlemminger. They use a wide variety of instruments, objects, languages and voices in their concerts with compositions about bodies and plants, politics, feelings and other oddities. Over the course of their #TakeHeart residency at Schaubude Berlin in the beginning of the 2022, they conducted research into new form of music performance and dedicated themselves to the borders between production and spontaneity, intimacy and publicness as well as music and theater.
For Gras FM, they are using the methods of object theater and are transforming objects into their co-performers with the help of robotics and physical computing.
A note about accessibility: You can find information about the physical accessibility of the performance venue here.
