A group of children spent two weeks researching the most varied aspects of the topic of clouds and transformed the art studio in their daycare center into a cloud laboratory. Inspired by the message of a cirrus cloud, the children collected ideas in order to be able to perform a storm themselves. Using sign language, movement games and eye contact, they became acquainted with a variety of options for secretly coming to agreement and surprised everyone at the end of the work on the project with the idea of planning and realizing the storm performance without adults.

The interdisciplinary artist Jana Barthel conducted research at the beginning of 2022 as part of a #TakeHeart residency at Schaubude Berlin for the project Wolkenforscher:innen (Cloud Researchers), which she then realized together with the team of INA.KINDER.Garten Prenzlauer Berg.
