In a mixture of workshop, delivery room and closet, we both examine the material traces of our mother-daughter relationships. For we are both daughters and daughters of daughters. And between these multiple daughterhoods we find traces of their relationships. There is always something left behind: the old high chair, the baby things, the unrepaired tabletop. In these leftovers, the scraps and remnants, we both look for traces that help them understand what it means to be a daughter. Eldest daughter, daughter of a skilled concrete worker, dangerous daughter, perfect daughter, the two daughters on stage are just that and sometimes would rather be none of those things. Together they ask themselves:

What memory shards have gone deep under our skin and can now be carefully pulled out? Does the child's coat whisper stories when we listen very carefully? Can we recognize ourselves anew in our own shadow?

Equipped with cordless screwdriver, iron and flashlight, we both stir up the dust of their childhoods to discover new answers to age-old questions.

On Oktober 14 there will be a Silent Walk after the performance.
