Housework includes routines, quarrelling, expectations, secrets and knowledge that is less secret. It is sometimes unseen. It is frequently unpaid and taken for granted. It is sometimes paid and precarious employment.

It turns a living space into a home, creating a cosy atmosphere. But most importantly, it never ends: ongoing laundry, regular trips to the shops... And vacuuming on Saturdays.

A glamorous documentary Theater der Dinge production including never-ending housework and finite power.

Following the performance on April 20, a mediation format will take place under the direction of Kai Padberg and Marisa Burkhardt from the PAP. The format is open to the entire audience. Pre-registration until 19.4. at ticket@schaubude.berlin
