Hans Christian Andersen was fascinated by the new technology of his time: using paper cuts and collages, he recounted about telegraphy, the railroad, the microscope or even imagined airplanes in countless fairytales. The media artist Alessandro Maggioni and the performer Magali Tosato immerse themselves in these fantastic worlds with analog paper cut silhouettes and digital projections and invite the audience to join them on a journey through old and current visions of the future.
