Puppet theatre based on the book by Astrid Lindgren
“The night that Ronja was born, thunder rolled over the mountains”.
Ronja grows up in Mattisburg Castle, cared for by a gang of robbers. Birk is the son of the dangerous thief Borka, who lays siege to the part of Mattisburg where nobody lives. Ronja doesn’t get on with her new neighbours at first, but she slowly and gradually makes friends with Birk. When they can no longer stand all the arguments between their families, Ronja and Birk run away.
This is an adventure story about thieves, justice, respect, friendship and love.
