Carola, Greta, George – heroes are generated and collectively created through digital networking. Statues representing heros inside bodies in public space disappear. "Only for a day" explores the dying out genre of monuments and statues and creates new heroine figures through data exchange.
We offer the Augmented Reality Walk "Only for one day" as an App. Requirements for downloading: smartphone or tablet with rear camera. The Walk is currently only available for Android devices with at least Android 7.1 (Android Nougat). You need your own headphones. You will receive the download link after purchasing a ticket.
You can set your starting time individually, but due to the darkness we recommend that you start before 4 pm. The walk starts at the entrance of the Schaubude Berlin and is intended for one person at a time. At the entrance door you can pick up a small kit with objects you will need for the walk. Please note that you do the walk on your own responsibility. Pay attention to the traffic.
