Performance with puppets and live music
The picture was seen around the globe: the state visit to Sochi in 2007. An unleashed Labrador retriever approaches Angela Merkel. The Chancellor seems intimidated, while Vladimir Putin smiles complacently. The picture captures power and powerlessness at the same time. How are the effects of power deployed and how do we encoutner them? How can conflicts be solved playfully? In this new project, Frank Becker, Jan Schöwer, Paula Engel und Robert Richter demystify the image and question it from the perspective of dogs and human beings.
