"Phoebe Zeitgeist has been sent to Earth from another star so that she can write a report on democracy amongst humans. But Phoebe Zeitgeist is in trouble... She does not understand the language that the people are speaking, even though she has learned the words."

An experimental arrangement from Cie. Freaks and Foreigners takes the encounters, revelations, life confessions and self-disclosures of characters from Fassbinder's work and brings them up close to the present.

An affectionate, yet simultaneously critical study of society, a poetic way of taking stock, and a journey into the past.
