Forests are burning, sea levels are rising and 130 animal and plant species are dying out every day according to the United Nations. This may sound like a futuristic apocalypse, but it’s actually our present situation. But maybe it will actually mark the start of something new. What could ‘the world without us’ look like? Or to put it another way… Who could WE be in the world of tomorrow? Through writing, we will explore ‘futures’, think about new ways of living and aim to trace alternative forms of relationships on our damaged planet.

Tim Holland reads, writes, translates, edits, hosts, moderates and leads writing workshops and publishes texts, both online and offline. His debut work “vom wuchern” was one of the “Poetry Books of the Year 2016”. Since 2017, he has been running hochroth Verlag München, together with Tristan Marquard and Hannes Munzinger.
