A tie is THE symbol of male power. Manufaktor wants to re-evaluate this material, reinterpret it and develop an empowering approach. A tie-wearing hormone monster figure enters into an exchange with young people through TikTok and explores the question of what a detox cure for masculinity could look like. In a visual performance of ties, we walk all over the patriarchy. An attempt to strengthen pro-feminist ideas in boys and encourage girls to engage in a critical discussion about masculinity.
