Divadlo Alfa invites the audience into a courtroom: the defendant is the largest energy company in the world, accused of culpability for one of the most disastrous environmental catastrophes in recent memory. But to what extent is the uncontrollable power of the fossil fuel industry and the deadly entanglement of greed and systemic negligence supported by our consumerism and our dependence on the industry? Transport: Tipping Point is captivating documentary theater. Inspired by the real case of an exploding offshore platform in the USA, the production reflects upon a world in which nature fights for survival against the inexorable logic of capitalism.

“Transport” is a six-part theater series that has been celebrated across Europe that concerns itself with the effects of mobility in a globalized world. All productions use individually created scenographies consisting of realistically designed spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure that are inhabited by 3D printed characters. An immersive experience for the audience is created with a performance style oriented around animated films and a 3D soundscape.
