Object theatre based on the children’s book “The mysterious suitcase of Mr Benjamin” by Pei-Yu Chang
To all the invisible! I come from a city of abandoned backyards, empty factories, disused airfields, former border crossings. Places where it seems “as if everything that is actually yet to come is a past”. This is where our story begins. And tells of the lives of two people on the run: the philosopher Walter Benjamin and the resistance fighter Lisa Fittko. From Berlin to Marseille, following a secret path in the Pyrenees, things focus simultaneously and inseparably on their own present.
Reservations for performances are reserved for school and daycare groups at ticket@schaubude.berlin or 030 4234314. Weekend dates for this production will be published at a later date.
