Ursula Heise is a Professor at the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California. She researches environmental awareness, culture and globalisation. In her most recent publications, she has specifically looked at the narrative surrounding of ecological catastrophes and narrative strategies that incorporate non-human perspectives.
