Who are we and what determines our identity? “Hero” takes a playful look at the different facets of personality and the myth surrounding superheroes, who often keep their identity a secret.

Who are we and what determines our identity? “Hero” takes a playful look at the different facets of personality and the myth surrounding superheroes, who often keep their identity a secret.

Who knows what’s behind a mask or hidden underneath a costume? All there is, is a random guess, a possible lead, an assumption that is made about experiences and events… a possibility.

“Hero” is a visually powerful reflection on becoming visible and invisibility.

Tibo Gebert’s individual suggestive visual language invites us to reflect on our own reality – our hopes, desires, fears and wishes.

Notes on accessibility: The lighting mood is kept dark in the staging and it goes completely dark several times. Repetitive music is used. Information about the accessibility of the venue in structural terms can be found here.
