Objects and fragments of bodies are raining into a house that is in the process of being built – or demolished. There are traces of movement, haunted by the bodies that once performed them. Reassembled in new ways, they tell a story that brings together different biographies and times, taking place amongst life, death and whatever lies between.

This year’s festival contribution by the artist Myriam Jacob-Allard from Montreal creates a polyphonous temporality in the display windows of Schaubude Berlin between the past, present and future. Remains become living archives, movement potentiate and influence each other mutually in a domestic theatricality that welcomes the coming chaos.
