Megan is living the so-called American Dream – everything is possible; you just have to want it. When she receives a luxury trip to outer space for her birthday, her biggest wish finally comes true. From the distance of outer space, however, the contradictions of the conflicted planet Earth appear more clearly to her than she had expected. Her belief that all human beings have the same opportunities to succeed begins to crumble. Puppentheater Klaipėda creates a brilliant satire and asks if space travel is not ultimately just a way to run away from the problems that we have ourselves created.

“Transport” is a six-part theater series that has been celebrated across Europe that concerns itself with the effects of mobility in a globalized world. All productions use individually created scenographies consisting of realistically designed spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure that are inhabited by 3D printed characters. An immersive experience for the audience is created with a performance style oriented around animated films and a 3D soundscape.
