Students and alumni of the contemporary puppetry program present a very special singing contest: Karaoke with puppets! A variety of different musical disciplines require concentrated vocal strength, a talent for improvisation and team spirit. Who will sing the next song? Who will pull the special effects card and make the performance perfect? Or is it time now for the audience joker?

Oke Kara _ Puppenkaraoke already enchanted audiences during PULS & PEILUNG, the new student festival of the puppet theater department of the Ernst Busch Academy of Theatre Arts at Schaubude Berlin. For this year’s edition of the festival, there is a new round of this late-night spectacle, this time with categories about the festival’s theme of autonomous objects.
