Ugo Dehaes is back at Theater der Dinge! After he enchanted Berlin audiences with dancing robots in 2023, he busies himself with the breathtaking complexity of the human body in his newest production: for Moving Skin, he has conducted research into the mechanisms of our skeleton, makes the skin dance, reconstructs muscles and tries to bring lifeless material to life – in the hope that his choreographies can be preserved forever.

In his absolutely unique mixture of robotics, dance, satire of the future and philosophy, the Belgian artist has once again created a one-of-a-kind piece of theater: an homage to the timeless fascination of the body and its inner beauty, while simultaneously also being a trip into the past and the future of the meeting points of human beings and technology both on and off the stage.

Information About Accessibility: You can find information about the physical accessibility of the performance venue here. The audience will sit around a table with Ugo Dehaes.
