Has she run away? Was she murdered? The Duke is haunted by her and by his own desires. The boundaries between reality and madness blur. This is a production that has been adapted from the novel “The Sufferings of Prince Sternenhoch” by Ladislav Klíma (1928) about the patriarchical repression in which there can be no winners.Lovefuckers was founded in the early summer of 2009 and set itself the goal of continuing to search for love, even in the abyss where everything suffers, in order to give just a little bit of shine to all of the dirt. They search for ways out of the current condition of the world using all performative means. The play The Truth About Helga was created over the course of a #TakeCare residency at Schaubude Berlin in the beginning of 2021. In this production, they are working with the Berlin doom metal band NADJA for the first time.Laberfeuer.
