A magpie with a broken wing and a blind dog help each other to meet the challenges that life has in store. A lonely fox watches them as they do so. He offers to carry the magpie on his back. And then he runs so fast that she imagines she is flying again. Too late, the magpie realizes that the fox is not, in fact, a friend; he’s just jealous. In the end, the magpie and the dog find each other again and even make room for the fox.
