The monthly regulars' table for young puppet theatre is intended to be a place where young puppet theatre people, students and graduates of the various universities as well as career changers can get to know each other and exchange experiences, visions, questionable university policies and fears about the future.
In addition, there will be space to show each other interim results and results of current work and to talk about them on a collegial level.
Every month there will be a thematic focus. The Stammtisch is moderated and organised by a working group consisting of students and graduates from the universities in Berlin and Stuttgart. This working group collects topics and invites experts (old hands in the scene) to talk about particularly scary and obscure topics (funding, tax, initial engagement, etc.) so that the new generation can benefit from their mistakes and experiences without restraint.
On May 26 the topic will be feedback methods and feedback culture.
The meetings will take place via Zoom and are free of charge, but the number of participants is limited - registration via Westflügel for the evenings is therefore necessary and is done by booking an online ticket (0.00 euros). You will be sent a link to participate.
The Stammtisch für junges Figurentheater is part of EXTEND - Offensive für Weiterbildung, Vernetzung und Stärkung des Figurentheaters (Offensive for Further Education, Networking and Strengthening of Figure Theatre), funded by the Fonds Darstellende Künste (Performing Arts Fund) from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
