Over the course of Figure It Out, 10 artists will conduct research into new performative practices in digital space and jam with us on the platform Gather Town! At the end of the StageJam, the audience is invited to try out the short theater and performance formats for themselves.

The research format StageJam was developed by Schaubude Berlin in the year 2021 together with the Master’s program Performance & Object at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts Berlin in order to playfully investigate the performative potentials of online platforms. In StageJam #4, international artists have been invited to participate for the first time.

The StageTest takes place online on the platform Gather Town. In order to take part, you must agree to the privacy policy of Gather Town. We will send the access link via email prior to the beginning of the event. No software has to be installed, Gather Town can be used with the browsers Chrome and Firefox. A computer with webcam, microphone and loudspeaker is required per player.
