I am the promise of adventure, an exciting journey into the unknown. You will not know what to expect. Leave everyday life behind you and sail with me to a better place, which is more beautiful, a place where there is more for you to do and where you feel everything more intensely. Relax. Don’t worry. I will make your most secret dreams come true. What are you longing for? Relief? Freedom? Power? I’ll give you everything, just pull me close, squeeze me, and take me back home with you. Let’s disappear together. Cheers! To love! To us!

»Romance« is a haunting duo between a performer and a life-size puppet examining the topics of care, power, lust and the multilayered nature of relationships. In this passionate, brutal, and intense game of dependency, two bodies become entangled. With a melange of perfectly choreographed puppetry, profound spoken words and a powerful soundscape, Polish artist Natalia Sakowicz provides her audience with a theatrical experience that lingers in the memory.
