More and more artists and organisers of figure and object theatre are dealing with pressing ecological problems. There is a search for aesthetic forms to deal with the hardly tangible big issues such as climate change, global warming or species extinction on the theatre stage. In the same way, it is becoming apparent that sustainability standards will play a major role in productions, touring and events in the coming years: Be it out of their own conviction and sense of responsibility or through new funding conditions.

The Salz+Pfeffer Theatre in Nuremberg and the Schaubude Berlin invite interested colleagues to network and regularly exchange experiences on the topic of sustainability in puppet theatre from November 2021: How can puppeteers make their artistic work more sustainable? What is the task of the permanent houses? How can ecological themes be negotiated aesthetically and sensually on stage? And how can all this be realised?

Regulars' table topic on 19 January: Sustainable banking
Everyone is talking about sustainable investments. Even conventional big banks now present a sustainable image. Are they really? What is sustainable banking actually? Which banks offer it? Answers and insights on the topic of sustainable finance will be provided by ex-banker and community welfare advisor Thomas Mönius.

The regulars' table will take place online as a video chat: Please feel free to join at https://fairmeeting.net/Figurentheaterhaeuser
