Ukrainian-German exchange and encounter project: to merge and to emerge!

(e)merge is an artistic networking project for Ukrainian and German artists of puppet and figure theater. From November 25 to December 16 artists are invited to interact and exchange, with the background of the prevailing conflictsof the current war and crisis situation in Ukraine. Puppetry, as an art form and its effectiveness in therapy and pedagogy, will be the main focus of the event.

Programme on December 13:

14:00 - 15:30
Ariel Doron, the famous puppeteer, director and performer from Israel will perform interactive "Puppetry as a Socio-Political Performance Art Experiment".

16:00 - 16:30
Yuliia Meliksetova and Olha Filonchuk will show results from the (e)merge laboratory

17:00 - 18:30
Discussion on the topic "What now? Perspectives for artistic work". Alexej Vancl, Anja Kosanke and Sven Dolinski will give impulses on different aspects of artistic production practice in Germany.

The event will be held in German and Ukrainian and is free of charge.
