Based on the fairy tale "The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs" by the Brothers Grimm.

Based on the fairy tale "The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs" by the Brothers Grimm.

A child is born with a lucky skin - so the fairy tale goes. It is prophesied that it will succeed in everything in life and that it will marry the king's daughter. When the king learns of this, he devises all sorts of things to prevent it: He buys the child from the parents and throws it into a river. But as fate would have it, the basket with the baby gets caught in the mill wheel and the millers take the child in and raise it. Once again, the king finds out about this and makes the most wicked plans. He sends the child with a letter through the robber forest and finally to the devil. But the lucky child survives. And whoever does not fear the devil can win the whole world ...
