Name me one place where there are NO insects. Sounds pretty impossible, doesn't it? Our earth is full of them, and they live in their own cosmos of colours, shapes and patterns. We already know about almost a million species, yet there are probably millions more that remain undiscovered. But how do insects live and what do they do? By taking a closer look through the magnifying glass, you will discover hidden miniature worlds that seem to come from another planet. Using images and collages, live music and projections, the production showcases the peculiar beauty and vulnerability of insects.

The compagnie toit végétal is known for its collage-like theatre works intended for young audiences, and the way in which it works with drawings and live projections.

Together with the Tonhalle Düsseldorf and Junges Nationaltheater Mannheim, the artists have examined the relationship between mankind and nature.
