Object Theatre
The western world has produced a way of life that celebrates individualism - each person is alone and remains in their own world. Headphones on the ears, touch screens in the hands and distrust of others have long been an expression of social distancing. In this sense, the current COVID 19 crisis is, without intending to be, an allegory for our social relations, because we now have to do what we have already mastered perfectly before - keep others at a distance and remain in our bubble. The paradox is that this time we are doing it for others.
