Good night ─ A performance installation for staying awake

Automatic object theatre performance • in German and English

At night, you sleep, ideally for eight hours. But very few people are allowed to do that. The others toss and turn in sleepless hours between self-doubt, social expectations, and madness. Alone and yet connected to the large community of insomniacs.

Pragmata opens a door into an enigmatic parallel world. In this, with a complex interconnection of objects and media, the levels of meaning of the nocturnal (dis)quiet can be experienced.

Vanished without a trace, dropped into the coffee cream, swallowed by the hole, licked up by the ice cream, inhaled by the lemon sorbet, washed away by the beer...

A (silly) dreamlike hike of characters through a digestive tract of a special kind. Nothing is certain and nothing remains as it is in the endless abyss.

Martha Morpheus

Ms Morpheus cleans Mr Britz's apartment.
One day she finds the missing record player needle in his salon. The encounter with Miss Needle and the music of Debussy open up a world for Martha Morpheus beyond her reality. On a supernatural journey into the past, she meets Alfred Britz in an enchanted way.
