The Pangalactic Theatre is striking back. Based on research looking at the topics of housing, gentrification and the real estate market, the collective’s second work is an opera set in deep space. And that is precisely the point: God is on holiday on the Stone Age planet of Uggel. When two Ur-Uggels disturb him, he gives them the gift of fire and inadvertently sets off a lightning evolution. Meanwhile, on the planet of Uila, Mtoktok Johannson is feeling somewhat disconnected and abandoned. His pension isn’t enough and he can only travel with his finger on the map. His daughter Meijnen and her partner Hans Olo, on the other hand, can’t move for money thanks to their FeelGood records. After a bad deal is done, however, the pan-galactic balance is turned on its head. A wild space trip, that makes it to the big screen for the first time. Following the screening on November 9th there will be an artist talk moderated by Beate Absalon and Sebastian Köthe.

The 2G rule applies. Accessibility: Information on the structural accessibility of the venue can be found here. Participation in the artist talk is voluntary.
