Nahaufnahme der samtigen Klappmaulpuppe des orangenen Fuchses, mit listigem, intensivem Blick und leicht gerunzelten Augenbrauen. Klappmaulpuppe der Otter-Schlange, deren Kopf und Oberkörper von einem blau-weißen Spotlight beleuchtet werden, während ihre geschlitzten Pupillen und gelben Augen halb zugewandt zu den Betrachtenden schauen. Die Klappmaulpuppe des Dachses sitzt abwartend mit scharfen Krallen und schwarz-weißen, buschigen Fellelementen auf einer grauen Plattform. Im Hintergrund ist unscharf die Handpuppe einer Eule zu sehen. Die Krötenpuppe wird an ihrem Nacken emporgehoben. Starr schaut sie aus gelben Augen Richtung Kamera. Ihre Arme hängen gerade herunter und ihre Haut aus Lederstücken zeigt deutliche Nähte. Einblick in das Bühnenbild mit Miniaturmischwald, runder Projektionsfläche für und mit Videoaufnahmen und einem runden Drehtisch mit Dachspuppe und Meerschweinchenpuppe, hinter denen die Artisanen im diffuser Dunkelheit schemenhaft erkennbar sind. Die Eule schaut mir halb offenen Augen, eins größer als das andere, an den Betrachtenden vorbei. Ihre leicht aufgestellten, mit durchhängenden Tüchern bespannten Flügel und ihr zerzauster, buschiger Körper und Kopf erzeugen ein Gefühl von Erschöpfung und Alter. Sie wird von Artisanin Inga Schmidt emporgehoben, die unscharf mit durchdringendem Blick im Hintergrund des Bildes zu erkennen ist.

The animals of Thalerwald must rise up because their home is threatened. The last pond is filled in by a digger and now there is no water left. Badger, Vixen, Adder, Hamster, Mole, Owl and Toad will have to leave their beloved home. But where will their adventures take them? Despite all their differences, they will only survive if they stick together.
