Symptoms of illness
If you have had contact with people suffering from Covid-19 or are suffering from an upper respiratory infection yourself, you should not attend the event. Please observe the rules on segregation. Persons with symptoms of a respiratory infection of any severity must not attend the event. This cannot be circumvented by a negative test result, proof of full vaccination or convalescent status.

Medical masks
Compulsory wearing of a medical mask throughout the theatre. The mask may be removed at your own seat, but we recommend that you wear a mask during the performance as well. Children up to the age of six are exempt from this requirement. We do not advise visitors at risk of severe SARS-CoV-2 infection who are unable to wear a medical mask.

Tickets
For the time being, tickets will only be available online on our website. Tickets cannot be purchased on site. School classes and daycare groups can reserve their tickets by calling 030 4234314 or emailing ticket@schaubude.berlin.

Admission
Admission begins 30 minutes before the performance. Seats are numbered.

3G Rule and 2G Rule
Our events currently take place under the 3G rule as standard. For admission, you will need your ticket, photo ID and one of the following forms of proof:

(a) Proof of antigen rapid test or PCR test: written or electronic certificate of a negative test result that is not older than 48 hours (for PCR testing) or 24 hours (for antigen rapid test) at the start of the event. An overview of possible Berlin test centres can be found here: www.berlin.de/corona/testzentren. There is no possibility for on-site testing.

(b) Proof of vaccination or recovery: Certificate of vaccination with a vaccine against Covid-19 approved by the European Union, the last required vaccination of which was at least 14 days ago. In case of recovery, proof of a positive PCR test result for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus at least 28 days and not more than six months ago.

The testing obligation does not apply to children up to the age of 6. Pupils who are subject to regular testing as part of their school attendance provide proof by presenting their pupil ID or BVG card.

Individual events in the context of Theater der Dinge 2021 take place under the 2G rule. (This is indicated separately on our website at the respective performance sub-pages). Visitors will only be admitted to these events upon presentation of a digitally signed proof of vaccination or convalescence. Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons may attend without 2G proof. They must be tested negative by means of a PCR test and prove vaccination eligibility by means of a medical certificate. Children under 12 years of age may participate without 2G detection. Children over 6 years of age must be tested negative.
