Sanitary regulations etc: current information regarding your theatre visit

Symptoms of illness
If you have had contact with a person infected with Covid-19 in the last 14 days or have an upper respiratory infection yourself, you must not attend the performance. This cannot be circumvented by a negative test result, proof of full vaccination or convalescent status.

Tickets already purchased can be converted into a voucher for the value of the ticket price. Please contact us for this on 030 4234314 or ticket@schaubude.berlin.

Medical masks
It is compulsory to wear a medical mask throughout the theatre. We expressly point out that a medical certificate does not release you from this obligation.

The mask can be removed at your own seat, but we recommend that you also wear a mask during the performance. Children up to the age of six are exempt from this requirement.

Tickets
For the time being, tickets will only be available in advance online on our website. Tickets cannot be purchased on site. School classes and daycare groups can reserve their tickets by calling 030 4234314 or emailing ticket@schaubude.berlin.

Admission and 3G rule
Admission begins 30 minutes before the performance. Seats are numbered. For admission you will need your ticket, photo ID and one of the following proofs:

(a) Proof of antigen rapid test or PCR test: written or electronic certificate of a negative test result that is not older than 48 hours (for PCR testing) or 24 hours (for antigen rapid test) at the start of the event. An overview of possible Berlin test centres can be found here: www.test-to-go.berlin. There is no possibility for on-site testing.

(b) Proof of vaccination or recovery: Certificate of vaccination with a vaccine against Covid-19 approved by the European Union, the last required vaccination of which was at least 14 days ago. In case of recovery, proof of a positive PCR test result for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus at least 28 days and not more than six months ago.

The testing obligation does not apply to children up to the age of 6. Pupils who are subject to regular testing as part of their school attendance provide proof by presenting their pupil ID card or BVG card.

Attendance documentation
For attendance documentation, we ask for your first and last name, address, e-mail address and telephone number as part of the ticket sales process. The data will be destroyed two weeks after the event.

Keep your distance
Please keep at least 1.50 metres distance from other persons. Please only use the seat designated on your ticket to maintain the specified distances.

General hygiene rules
Please observe the known hygiene rules, remember the sneeze and cough etiquette and wash your hands thoroughly on a regular basis. You will find disinfection dispensers in the sanitary facilities. Please observe signs, distance markings and directions.

We have adjusted the cleaning and disinfection cycles.

Ventilation
The ventilation of the theatre hall is ensured by a mobile ventilation system with fresh air (air capacity: 8,550/11,180 m3/h).

Gastronomic offer
Our theatre bar is open. You may only consume drinks at your seat in the theatre hall.

Kita and school groups can reserve morning performances by calling 030 4234 314 or by writing an email to ticket@schaubude.berlin. Please understand that these shows can only be attended by individual groups or institutions.

At the moment no reservations can be made for evening and weekend performances.
